My Magic+

Next generation experience for Walt Disney World

Leveraged Guest preferences, desires, needs, and motivations to create a more personal vacation experience. With a wide range of Guests, creating a connected ecosystem that would provide a highly differentiated experience at every touchpoint was essential. It was key to build a holistic end-to-end experience that is user-centered and can scale to the vast and growing user demands. Each touchpoint had to tie together and tell a greater story. Lead much of the visual design systems thinking across projects and studios, ranged from blue sky vision work to detailed design. From planning, booking, and visiting to maps and icons, projects spanned the scope and scale of this massive endeavor.

Office Mac

Created the next version of the Office for Mac icons that leverages the previous versions' equity, but is distinct and fresh in the Mac ecosystem.

Dolby Conference Phone

Created a touch interface for a new era of premium audio conferencing. The interface compliments the device's industrial design and signals a new era of phone conferencing that is uniquely Dolby. 

Disney's PhotoPass

Reimagined the next generation of Disney's PhotoPass service for Walt Disney World. Integrated with the MyMagic+ design language and user experience. The interface showcases Guest content and media in new and engaging ways. 

BOOM

Brought the BOOM brand experience to life through iconic product design and youthful branding, for a generation on the move. The branding leverages the 'ready-for-anything' energy to create a distinct brand voice that is fun and active. Street graphics, loud color and bold shapes come together to define BOOM.

 

Sony Entertainment Network

Created a unified experience that brings together the user's entertainment across all their devices, from TV to tablet and smart phone. The design language is distinctly Sony and raises the bar across the company.

Chase Mobile

Lead the creation of next generation mobile banking for customers' increasing on-the-go banking needs. Partnered and grew the internal design team. Facilitated user research and testing for optimization across user demographics. Built and developed a design language system that captured the Chase brand and scaled across iOS and Android. 

Definitive Technology

Refreshed a premium audio brand to reflect a more modern product design direction. Through reduction and minimalism, the brand is true to the precision audio technology housed inside.

Age of Learning

Partnered with the internal design teams to elevate the user experience for early learners, their parents, and educators. Developed a design language system that was responsive across devices, including desktop, mobile, and tablet. Designed two interface frameworks – one for child users and one for parents and educators – each designed to work together but serve the specific needs for each.

Club Penguin

Through user-centered research and analysis, developed a framework and proof-of-concept for a chat system that works across Disney’s virtual online worlds. Enables users to transition seamlessly from world to world but stay connected to their online friends.  

Yellow Pages

Collaborated with the internal design team to refresh the look and feel of the Yellow Pages brand. Helped to create a new offering called MyBook - your personal black book of businesses. The refreshed design language is responsive and works from desktop to mobile.

Windows Vista

Windows Vista brand UX
Brought the Windows brand and product experience to life in an all-up way that is uniquely Windows. This work covers a variety of components within Windows Vista – user tiles, default wallpaper, trademarked UI elements and more. 

Windows Vista brand icon family
Built a suite of icons for the top-tier experiences within Windows. The icons serve as each product's ID both in the product and in marketing communications. The framework helps to tell the better-together story for these key features of Windows.

Windows Vista packaging
Created packaging for the major release of Microsoft's flagship product Windows Vista. Built a packaging experience that is reflective of the product. As part of this major launch, we defined a new packaging form factor for all Microsoft software.

 

Agilent Technologies

Created a modern and responsive design language system for Agilent's professional tools. Built a system that simplifies the robust tools used in scientific research and development labs across the world.
